St Jame's Church

The main building dates from the twelfth century. It features a king-post roof spanning the nave and aisles, the church is constructed of flint and roofed in parts with local Horsham slate. Between the nave and chancel is a simple oak beam instead of the more usual arch.

The grave of Margaret Fairless Barber who wrote the Roadmender stories under the name Michael Fairless is found in the chruchyard.
