Bexhill Museum

Bexhill Museum is housed in an Edwardian park pavilion.

The museum houses local archaeology and natural history exhibits in the Sargent Gallery. The technology gallery highlights the Edwardian resort's motoring heritage, with a reproduction of the Serpollet steam car which won the 1902 Bexhill Motor Trials, Britain's first international motorsport event.  The steamer is complemented by a Bexhill-built 1957 Mk III Elva sports/racer and the electric car with which local schoolchildren took a class world land speed record.

The social History gallery features an extensive costume collection.

The museum has an interactive Access Centre for research.
