Bateman's (National Trust) Rudyard Kipplings House
Rudyard Kipling's home, built in 1634, where he lived from 1902 - 1936. See the rooms as they were in Kipling's day and where he wrote 'Pook of Pook's Hill'. Lovely garden with pond, roses and herbs. A water mill grinds corn on most Saturdays.

Daily except Thurs and Fri (but open Good Fri)
